Internships

The Office of Internal Audits offers a summer internship to students in the Austin, Texas area who are interested in obtaining real-world audit experience. Work is performed on actual audit projects under close supervision of experienced auditors and may consist of audit planning, executing fieldwork, and developing audit observations and recommendations.

Our office is currently taking applications for a 2024 Summer Intern. The internship will begin after the 2024 Spring Term ends, with a starting date of Wednesday, May 8, 2024. The internship will last until August 15 - 22, 2024 (start and end dates are flexible within this time period).

Our office will interview candidates in early February 2024. All interviews will be in person at our office.   • A letter of interest is a one-page document that should contain why you are applying for our internship and what skills you have that you believe qualify you to work in our office. Please include your name and contact information in the letter of interest.
